A working catalogue of buildings, drawings, and stubborn questions about the difference between a wall and a room. Twelve projects, none of them finished.
¶ 01I trained as a draftsperson before I trained as an architect. The order matters: I learned to make a building stand up on a piece of paper before I learned to make one stand up in concrete.
¶ 02Most of my work happens at 1:50. The rest is the boring part where I argue with contractors. I'm interested in low-cost housing, public typologies, and the question of how to make a building feel inevitable.
¶ 03Born in Pondicherry. Studied at CEPT. Now in my final year, splitting time between the studio and a small architecture practice in old Ahmedabad.
